TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All prices and products are subject to change without notice. This price list is for reference only and is NOT our offer to sell products. All pricing in U.S. Dollars.
Net 30 days from date of invoice, payable in U.S. currency. No early pay discounts allowed. A service charge of 1-1/2% per month will be added to all accounts past due.
Our minimum order is $25.00
A drop ship charge of $5.00 will be added to all invoices under $50.00.
Freight is prepaid on orders above $800.00 shipped within the continental U.S.A. except Alaska and Hawaii.
Freight is prepaid on orders above $800.00. Orders to Canada will be shipped care of your customs broker.
Specialty Products is not responsible for duties, custom fees, taxes and other charges.
Choice of carrier and class of service for prepaid orders are at the discretion of Specialty Products Company.
Any Items returned to Specialty Products Company will only be accepted if accompanied by a RETURN AUTHORIZATION number initiated by a SPC team member.
Returns will be limited to 5% of the previous calendar year’s purchase. Goods returned must be listed on our current price sheet and in saleable condition.
Returns must be shipped prepaid and include copies of original invoices. In the case that an original invoice is not available, the lowest recorded price will be used. All returns, except for warrantable goods and shipment of incorrect merchandise, will be charged a 15% handling and restocking charge.
All items returned are subject to inspection and evaluation prior to credit being issued.
We reserve the right to schedule the processing of returns to correspond with factory efficiency.
No return will be processed at the factory between the dates of December 15 and January 1.
Credits resulting from returns will be used towards payment on existing invoices or towards future purchases.
Claims for damages in transit are to be filed at once with the carrier. Shortage claims must be made within 10 days after receipt of goods.
Specialty Products Company warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use as per the following:
A limited lifetime warranty applies to parts designated with the price code “A” and “AA”, only to the original consumer purchaser and only on the original vehicle on which it was installed. This limited lifetime warranty is in effect only when the product is installed by a professional technician. A limited lifetime warranty also applies to select hand tools, those identified by price code “B”, and only to the original consumer purchaser. Tools and equipment identified by price code “C” are warranted for a period of one year. Saws, Cutters and Punches are excluded and are warranted for a period of 90 days.
Racing parts, indentified by price code “D” have no warranty stated or implied due to the inability to monitor the part’s modification, installation, and use, except that Specialty Products Company warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 90 days after purchase under normal use. Final determination of the suitability of the parts for use contemplated by the buyer is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Any product that has been abused, altered, incorrectly installed or used in competition, racing or off road, is not covered. Product finish is excluded from this warranty as is normal wear and tear.
Specialty Products Company shall not be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that might be claimed as a result of the failure of any part, including, but not limited to claims for delay, loss of profits, use, time or labor.
Specialty Products Company shall not be liable for any damage or injury to persons or property resulting from improper installation or misuse of any part subject to this warranty. There are no other warranties expressed or implied extending beyond those set forth above.
We reserve the right to make changes in design, materials and specifications without prior notice.
Should a product fail to function due to a manufacturer’s defect in material or workmanship, the product must be returned along with the original consumer proof of purchase to the Specialty Products Company distributor for verification and replacement. Failure to provide the original proof of purchase voids this warranty.
Parts returned must be determined by Specialty Products to be defective and Specialty Products’s obligations under that warranty are solely limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, any part proven defective.
Contact your Specialty Products Company distributor or Specialty Products Company about a claim. If it appears that the part is warrantable, you will be given a Return Authorization (RA) number and asked to return the part freight prepaid. If the part is found to be warrantable, it will be repaired or replaced and returned to you. All freight charges are the customer’s responsibility. If a replacement part is needed before the part in question can be returned, you must first purchase the replacement part. Then if the part in question is deemed warrantable, you will be credited / refunded.
Specialty Products reserves the right to modify pricing, terms of sale, and product offerings without notice.
All products available from Specialty Products Company should only be installed by personnel who have the necessary skill, training and tools to do the job correctly and safely. Incorrect installation can result in personal injury, vehicle damage and / or loss of vehicle control.
SPC will use reasonable care to ensure that the information is accurate at the time it is added to the web site but cannot guarantee this and does not accept any liability to update the information. In addition, SPC does not accept any liability, howsoever arising, for the accuracy, completeness, use of or reliance on the information contained on this web site . The information may be changed by SPC at any time.
