On various vehicles, the EZ SHIMTM application may require the use of longer bolts to accommodate the newly installed shim. This set of eight bolts contain M10 x 1.5 x 40mm allen head rear hub bolts to be used with the rear shims when needed.

You can easily under-torque or even over-torque bolts. Over-torquing a bolt vs. under-torquing a bolt is equally
a bad thing as an under-torqued bolt will cause it to cycle many more times than normal and eventually shorten the fatigue life drastically, which in turn could potentially lead to an early failure.
