ALL MACHINE SHOP OPENINGS WILL HAVE THESE REQUIREMENTS:

 

General requirements include, but will not be limited to:

  • Must be able to effectively read, speak and write English
  • Be able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings
  • Must have knowledge of measuring equipment
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to work in a multi-discipline machine shop
  • We are a growing machine shop and need individuals who can work in a fast-paced, growing, team environment. Preference for individuals who display the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Background check and references must be successful to be hired.
  • We are a drug-free workplace with random testing requirements
  • Must be reliable, dependable, and able to fulfill current shift requirements

First shift – 7:00 – 3:30 p.m. (M-F) with 30 minute lunch;

Second shift - 3:15 p.m.– 1:45 a.m. (M-TH) with a 30 minute meal;

Weekend shift – 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (F-S) with a 30 minute meal.

 

Physical requirements include:

  • Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs. Repetitively for periods up to 12 hours a day
  • Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours a day
  • Continual bending throughout the day

 

Additional requirements – you must provide the following:

  • Safety glasses with side shields
  • Steel toed shoes (reimbursement plan available)
  • 6 inch calipers + metric required and 0-1 inch micrometer + metric required

 

FIRST SHIFT OPENINGS: Hiring for two first shift openings.

 

PROGRAMMER/ MACHINIST. Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Programming of parts and machines with CAM machines
  • Set up of machines when required
  • Providing leadership to machine operators in a team environment, as needed
  • Master cam knowledge and experience REQUIRED
  • Operating multi axis machines when required.

 

FABRICATOR, WATERJET OPERATOR, WELDERS will have a range of duties at Specialty Products Company with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

  • Operating press brake and Water jet
  • Reading and understanding mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Welding experience with mig and tig a plus
  • Master cam knowledge and experience a plus

 

SECOND-SHIFT OPENINGS: Hiring for two second shift openings

 

MACHINE OPERATORS. We will be hiring two second-shift employees as Machine Operators. MACHINE OPERATORS will have a range of requirements, duties and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate different types of machines (CNC and or manual lathes, Mills etc.)
  • May include shop maintenance, facility maintenance, shipping and receiving, deliveries and other associated or related support activities
  • Reading and understanding mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment
  • Assembly of parts
  • Packaging of components
  • 1 year of experience in a machine shop environment preferred
  • Other duties as assigned

 

WEEKEND OPENINGS: This is a new shift working F-S-S, 7:30 a – 7:30 p. Hiring up to four openings

 

MACHINIST. We will be hiring one or two employees as a machinist. MACHINISTS will have a range of requirements, duties and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

  • Operating a multiple spindle, multiple turret CNC Lathe
  • 3-5 years of independent machining experience
  • Set up of machines
  • Providing guidance to machine operators in a team environment, as needed
  • Must be able to communicate instructions clearly to machine operators
  • Master cam knowledge and experience
  • Other duties as required during shift operations

 

MACHINE OPERATORS. We will be hiring one or two employees as Machine Operators. MACHINE OPERATORS will have a range of requirements, duties and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate different types of machines (CNC and or manual lathes, Mills etc.)
  • May include shop maintenance, facility maintenance, shipping and receiving, deliveries and other associated or related support activities
  • Reading and understanding mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment
  • Assembly of parts
  • Packaging of components
  • 1 year of experience in a machine shop environment preferred
  • Other duties as assigned
